What is Bourne Designs?
Bourne Designs is a one man design business run by me, Andrew Bourne. I was so tired of seeing bad design everywhere. About 8 out of 10 times I visit a website I tend to cringe at the so called design. If you follow the links at the bottom of the pages you'll find a design company that charges top dollar for these monstrosities. I hate to see people ripped off by these companies that don't care or just put your information in a template and charge you thousands of dollars. So, I collected a large sample of these 'design companies' and totaled their average rate. Once I found that, I cut it in half to find my own rate. There's no reason to pay these people twice as much money for poor quality. So why don't you contact me to get a much cheaper quote with much more quality and personal care...?

Why are you qualified to design?
Good question. I've always been interested in art. Even from an early age, I'd just draw and draw and draw. My curiosity in art led me and my pieces to museums/awards in high school and eventual landed me a spot in the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth. Their outstanding and reputable art/design program taught me a great deal about typography, design, color theory, placement, and much more. The four years in Dartmouth gave me a Bachelor's Degree in Typography/Visual Design. From there I've been designing websites, brochures, music albums, dvds, business cards, logos... everything you can think of. How can you afford to design so cheaply?
I'm not motivated by money. I still feel bad sometimes when I give a client an Invoice because I feel like I'm getting paid to do what I absolutely love. Yes, I like to have money to pay my bills and put food on the table... But the most important thing to me is making the best design I can and to make my clients happy. I want to out-do myself every time I come across a new project and I want my client to be impressed beyond all expectations they have when I hand them my design ideas.

This all sounds a bit cliche...
